Coaching that helps adults build and maintain the skills needed to live in their own home and participate in their community. Support is nonmedical and follows the person’s authorized plan, preferences, and applicable service requirements.

What support may include

  • Household organization and management
  • Budgeting and informed decision-making
  • Community navigation and integration
  • Self-advocacy, problem-solving, and safety

Supporting individual goals

Coaching may help the person manage a household, make informed decisions, solve everyday problems, advocate for preferences, and sustain greater independence.

Where support happens

Coaching is grounded in the person’s chosen living environment and the community resources used in everyday life.

What to expect

The coach helps the person plan, practice, evaluate choices, and solve problems while preserving self-direction and avoiding unnecessary dependence.

Working with families and WSCs

Holley Star communicates with the person and appropriate stakeholders to clarify schedules, authorized outcomes, changing circumstances, and next steps. Service documentation supports continuity and accountability while protected information is shared only through approved channels.
